Speaker: It has become increasingly clear that the funds from the UST trust fund are not going to be coming in any kind of tender manner. So I need to an appointment with Debra Conrad over at the state house and her Senate peer for this area and have a discussion before I attend an appropriation committee meeting for both the house and Senate hopefully on the same day.
In reality to talk about the appropriation to fund this mess so that we can get that cleaned up prior to 2019 which was the current estimate based on the existing level of funding, so of course we can dig in upon McCray's budget decision that is supposed to come as soon as the House approves the Senate's measure if indeed does happen. So we'll make the appointment in rally for the second week of October and then see what movement we need to get on that, if nothing comes of it then we'll think of contacting WXAI and seeing if anybody is interested in doing a piece on this mandate that is effectively unfunded but citizens are having to comply despite the promised compensation for doing so.
